SCHOLARSHIP PROCEDURES
Please Read Carefully
First-time Students:
Complete an NBS application—pick one up from the school or download one here and print it.
Submit the application, supporting documentation (copies of birth certificate, shot record, and Social Security card), and a $35 non-refundable application fee. Other supporting documentation that need to be available if requested: most recent report card, standardized test scores, and transcript (if available).
Students in 1st -12th grades should call to schedule a placement test—a requirement for all first-time students.
Upon acceptance, a parent can apply for financial aid. Please follow all directions for completing the financial aid process in order to be considered.
Financial aid only covers tuition costs. The parent will still be responsible for paying all registration fees, book fees, and class fees. This must be paid prior to the beginning of school.
All families that receive financial aid will be required to perform 10 service hours per semester.
***A financial aid application will not be considered unless the above steps have been followed.***
Returning Students:
The application process needs to be completed only one time. However, you must reapply annually for your financial aid. This must be completed by June 1.
